What to write about
A correction. Name the entry, quote the sentence, and give the source that shows the error: a catalogue page, a museum record, an archive file, a published interview.
A source. If you know a monograph, a catalogue, an exhibition record or a classroom resource an entry should have read, send the citation. The desk adds the sources it can verify.
A question about an entry. Ask about a technique, a term, a date or an attribution. Commissioning an artwork, buying a print, valuing a piece or reaching an artist is work for a gallery, an auction house or the artist, and those messages are forwarded where a public contact exists.
