What Artful Jesters stores when you write to the desk, and how the site handles it.
What is stored
The desk keeps the messages it receives, the address they came from and the date, so that a correction can be traced back to its source and an entry re-checked. Nothing else is collected.
What the site does
The pages are static files served over HTTPS. There is no account, no tracking script and no advertising network on the site. Aggregate request counts are kept by the hosting provider for security and capacity.
Writing to the desk
A message to contact@nicholasroukes.com is read by the desk. Ask and the message and its address are deleted from the record, unless the correction it carries is already applied to an entry, in which case the entry keeps the source it names.
